Chinese Language (Cross-border Ecommerce )

Tianjin University currently offers 67 undergraduate programs. The majority are delivered in Chinese. Upon successful completion of the curriculum and final thesis defense, students are awarded an undergraduate degree.

Chinese Language Graduation Requirement:

• Chinese-taught Programs: Students must achieve HSK Level 5 before graduation.
• Chinese Language Majors: Must achieve HSK Level 6 before graduation.
• English-taught Programs: Students must attain HSK Level 4 before graduation.

Required Application Documents

If documents are not in Chinese or English, notarized translations into Chinese or English must be provided.

1. Scan of original High School Diploma (or notarized copy). A pre-graduation certificate is acceptable at the time of application, but the final diploma must be submitted before registration.
2. Scan of notarized copy of High School Academic Transcripts or international standardization test results (e.g., SAT, A-Level, IB).
3. Scan of China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) transcript.
4. Photocopy of Passport (must be valid after September 1st, 2026).
5. Proof of Chinese or English Proficiency (HSK/IELTS/TOEFL).
6. Study and Work Experience Resume (since high school, must be uninterrupted). Applicants must fully disclose any prior learning experiences in China.
7. Study Plan (Minimum 600 words).
8. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (Must be conducted after October 1st, 2025).
9. Certificate of Non-Criminal Records (Valid within six months of the application date). Fresh high school graduates may submit a school certificate of good conduct instead.
10. Certificate of Bank Saving or Income Certificate of Financial Guarantor.
11. Original Guardian Certificate (required only for applicants under the age of 18 as of September 1st, 2026).
12. Other attachments (e.g., Certificate of award).

Additional Documents for Applicants Now in China: Photocopy of Visa and a certificate of good conduct/performance from their current school. Applicants studying at a university in China must also submit a Certificate of Withdrawal.

Additional Documents for Applicants Who Used to be Chinese Citizens: Proof of naturalization time, proof of renunciation of Chinese nationality, and a visa record of entry/exit to China for the recent four years.

Application Remarks:

1. All uploaded documents must be in Chinese/English; otherwise notarial translations in Chinese/English are required. Once translated, the original documents and certified translations should be submitted together to the application system.

2. TJU has the right to request the applicants to provide the original or notarized hard copies of application documents for further qualification checks if the uploaded documents are not sufficient. Applicants who provide fake materials will be disqualified from admission.
